For the vast majority of my jiu jitsu career, I really had it all wrong. I spent all my time trying to be the best on the mats. I didn't care about getting "better" as much as I did that I was simply better then everyone else around me. I used the people in class, … Continue reading My Jiu Jitsu Manifesto

My trip to Australia was absolutely amazing. I'm quite positive that getting to see your little sister get married is one of the best feelings in the world. Standing beside her as her "Man of Honor" was by far the coolest experience I've ever encountered...next to proposing to my future wife. Even though the trip … Continue reading Australia
I just found an old match I had against Tristan Yunker at an EGO tournament in Indianapolis back in 2008! This was in the finals of the purple belt division. Tristan was sporting a white belt because he forgot his! LOL. Great match against a great competitor though.
I have a super fight scheduled October 16th against a great competitor, Justin Christopher, at the Bluegrass Open! The format on this match is a little different but will be exciting to watch; no points, no time limit...submission only! The two of us are going to battle it out until one of us gives up! … Continue reading Superfight Oct. 16th in Louisville, KY!
